About this wine

A pioneering South African blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir, this wine honours an age-old idea from Burgundy, France.

We're always experimenting, and we had an 'aha' moment with our Pinot Noir when we decided to see what would happen if we blended it with Syrah. The results are a full-bodied blend where the best of both shine through. A perfect union showing the strength of coming together - we named this wine after our founding family.

Tasting notes

A unique red wine blend, we are the first in South Africa to launch this style of wine. With rich colour and intense red fruit and spice on the nose, followed by hints of cedar from 18 months in French oak barrels, the palate is layered with well-balanced tannins.
