Dear loyal customers and friends of Haute Cabriere!

We would like you to enjoy the new 2023 calendar, “Trees, Flowers and the Vine” that celebrates Haute Cabrière’s philosophy that quality wine originates in a well-kept and cared-for vineyard.

The team members achieving this challenge have always been devoted to immaculately caring for our vineyards. Today, my son, Takuan von Arnim, Director of Wine, is responsible for the quality of our distinguished range of wines. Tim Hoek, our dedicated cellar master, glorifies the grapes of the various vineyards, grown and picked at the right time to realise the full potential of our two chosen cultivars, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Together, we remain dedicated to the vision of growing great wines.

As the founder and Patron Cellar Master, this annual calendar, my second now, depicts my philosophies through art. It shows my admiration and respect for the elements of nature. More than ever, we must be aware of the need to respect mother earth in order for our world to survive. Bees, nature’s hardworking pollinators, enable the world’s abundance of fruit, vegetation and life-giving sustenance, and they are dying out. It is our joint responsibility to ensure this doesn’t happen. With this in mind, my wife and I have instated two hives in our own garden. If we each do our part, we can have immense impact.

My paintings came about the way Albert Einstein observed: “True art is characterised by the irresistible urge of a creative artist”. My words relate to my values, experienced on my life’s long journey, accompanied by great wines.

Lastly, do feel welcome to visit for a chat and a glass of our distinguished range of wines. Over weekends I will be in our Cellar Gallery where my art is on display and available for purchase.
